Tom Verghese is the Director of Cultural Synergies and is an internationally
recognised consultant in the area of cross-cultural awareness. He is a leading
international advisor and presenter in the area of cross-cultural communication
and the enhancement of diversity and inclusion to improve organisational performance.
Tom has more than 20 years experience working with people from a range
of cultures and has presented in many countries around the world. He has
worked with major organisations including Shell, Toyota, Exxon-Mobil and
Telstra Australia and travels extensively. He works with all levels of an
organisation, both in groups and at an individual level and is a dynamic
and interactive presenter.
Tom is of Indian origin and was born and raised in multi-ethnic Malaysia.
He speaks a number of Asian languages, and has a genuine interest in, and
knowledge of, a range of cultures. He has written a number of articles on
cross-cultural awareness and is based in Melbourne.
Tom holds a Diploma in Management, as well as a Graduate Diploma and Masters
in Education and Training. He is undertaking a Doctorate at the International
Graduate School of Management.
